What is the Shrimpton Style collection?

This website showcases my Jean Shrimpton collection. I’ve broken it into categories to make it easier to navigate and highlight different facets of Jean Shrimpton’s career. This home page includes the magazine covers/magazines I have in in my collection listed in A-Z order. Elsewhere on the website you will find them grouped by year. At times I have used the term “magazine” loosely. I have also included brochures, catalogs, counter books, and supplements as magazine covers.

This website is intended as an appreciation and overview of her career only.  For those who wish to learn more about Jean Shrimpton as a person, I suggest reading her 1990 autobiography. 

If you wish to quote from this website, please give proper credit. The Shrimpton page Chris Strodder and I collaborated on for his now defunct website and subsequent book, “Swingin’ Chicks of the 60’s” has been quoted over and over again without crediting the original point of origin.
